Community Rail Awards 2017

The ACoRP Community Rail Awards recognise and reward the hard work and dedication of the community rail family.

We are especially excited about the 2017 awards. Having undergone significant expansion, our extended ACoRP team is working hard to ensure this year’s awards are even more rewarding and enjoyable. Our experienced events manager Hazel continues to oversee this important event, which has become a vital fixture in the community rail calendar.

We very much look forward to hearing about your work in community rail and welcoming you on the night. This year’s awards will be presented at a gala dinner at the stunning Roundhouse in the historic railway city of Derby on Thursday 5 October. Last year’s event was a sell-out, so do also make sure you book your places and secure your accommodation early.

As many of you will already be aware, we have been revising the entry process and we are delighted to tell you that entries will now be entirely online. Exceptional cases will be assessed individually, for example where no computer access or capability exists but this must be discussed with ACoRP in advance. The entry booklet provide further details.

Details of the revised categories and criteria for 2017 are available opposite to help you to start planning your submissions and we look forward to receiving lots of entries.

Entry for the awards are now open, please click on the nominations link in the right hand menu. The entry booklet is available as a downloadable PDF from the same menu.

There are still a small number of sponsorship opportunities if you would like to support this great event. For further details visit our sponsorship page.
