Martin is the Community Stations Development Manager for ACoRP.
His background stretches back to his leaving school in 1970 with his most recent endeavours being in the Further and Higher Education sectors teaching Architectural History and Construction. Previously in the 70s, 80s and 90s he worked in the Construction and Radio Communication industries both as a Salesman and later as a Depot Manager.
His recent experience as a Historic Buildings Officer with North Wiltshire District Council has proved very useful in dealing with stations and local rail related issues.
In his spare time he enjoys local history, researching on the internet and exploring towns and villages throughout the UK. He keeps fit with a home gym and some light running, classic cars, collecting books and dust, and still participates in some amateur radio activity.
He thoroughly enjoys living in historic Stamford as it is easy to access Yorkshire, The Peak District and London.
